Let me introduce you to Gary (right) and Robbie. Two nice lads from Glasgow, one a Celtic supporter and the other a Rangers fan. They made their quiz debut on 1 October - and came last, but that is irrelevent. They were great fun.
Before the start of the second half of the quiz I decided to ask everybody how they came on holiday - was it a package holiday? Did they book through the internet? etc. And we got different asnwers like: Easy Jet Holidays, Jet 2 Holidays, Thomson and so on.
While I was doing this Gary and Robbie had disappeared to the toilet and when they re-appeared I asked them the same question and said to Robbie: "Who did you come to Mallorca with?" And he instantly replied: "I came with my mate Gary..." PRICELESS. |

Well, that's it for another season - our 20th in Mallorca.
We have been doing quizzes three nights a week at Central Bar since May and would like to thank all those people who came to them and helped make them so much fun. It has probably been our most enjoyable year ever.
Every quiz night has seen nothing but nice people take part and hopefully we will see many of you in 2012 ... sorry, but they will be different questions! Can't gurantee the jokes will be different though...
